BACKGROUND

Abigail has studied music in private lessons from the age of 6, beginning with piano. She has privately studied harp since the age of 10. Abigail has studied primarily with symphony harpist Judy Sullivan Hicks, who continues to be her mentor. She received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Samford University in 2016 and her Master’s of Music in Harp Performance from the University of Alabama in 2018. Recent performances include symphonic concerts with the Alabama Symphony, Tuscaloosa Symphony, Mississippi Symphony and the Texas Tenors, Church of the Highlands, and performances at the Alabama Music Educators Conference.

Abigail Workman is a harpist based in Birmingham, AL - but loves to travel! Her services include orchestral/ensemble concerts, weddings, background music, church services, and many more! Abigail also loves sharing the harp through teaching in her private studio.
